Ma recherche porte sur la sauvegarde du patrimoine français durant la Première Guerre mondiale. Dès l’entrée en guerre, le patrimoine français se trouve durement atteint et les destructions vont croissant durant quatre années. J’étudie pour ma thèse les opérations de sauvegarde des monuments et d’évacuation des objets mobiliers par un service militaire appelé Service de protection des monuments et œuvres d’art en zone des armées créé en 1917 par le ministère des Beaux-Arts et le ministère de la Guerre.
Gallicagram is a web app developed by Benjamin Azoulay and Benoît de Courson. It plots the evolution of a syntagm utilisation throughout time, exploiting the the numerized books of the National French Library (BNF), a website called Gallica.
Founded at ENS-PSL in 2009, Artl@s is structured around a digital database of exhibition catalogs, intended to contain all types of exhibition catalogs, from the invention of the catalog (Salon de Paris, 1673) to the present day.
The DatArt project brings together initiatives whose aim is to decentralize the study of the art world from Paris to the regions. Even if the capital was a major artistic center at the national and international level, other cities constituted a cultural breeding ground, both in the market structures and in the actions set up by local artists.
The early 19th century, witnessed the development of the art market in Paris, with an increase in the number of dealers and the specialization of certain districts into "rue des tableaux".
