Trained in computational linguistics and then in experimental phonetics, I am convinced that the first role of the actors in digital humanities is to fluidify the transition of historical practices of the humanities to digital.
To do so, it seems important to me to practice a rigorous watch in order to propose the most adapted solutions possible while aiming at sustainability. The second role is undoubtedly to make new forms of research appear and to facilitate the exploitation of new data. It is to make these paths possible that it seems to me necessary to listen to those who do the research even before the beginning of the formalization of a project.
