Machine learning and text analysis for digital humanities

I will present key concepts and challenges of Deep Learning approaches and in particular their applications on images for digital humanities. The presentation will use three concrete examples to introduce these concepts and challenges: artwork price prediction, historical watermark recognition, and pattern recognition and discovery in artwork datasets.
